VIOLET EDUCATION English Entrance Exam into Singapore Schools (AEIS) - Full Time

AEIS Singapore - AEIS stands for Admissions Exercise for International Students. This is the principal way by which non-Singaporean students enter the mainstream schools in Singapore.

Students who wish to study in Singapore public schools should join

VIOLET EDUCATION AEIS program after the 12-day VIOLET EDUCATION summer programme. The VIOLET EDUCATION AEIS program stretches from 6 months to a year. The lessons will be conducted on a daily basis from 9 am to 4 pm excluding weekends for all levels from Primary 2 to Secondary 3.

Study Tour in Singapore

Centralized admissions exercise conducted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) around September or October each year for international students who wish to join Singapore government primary and secondary schools in January of the following year.

AEIS consists of a test on English and Mathematics that will assess the applicants’ English literacy, numeracy and reasoning abilities.

AEIS Primary school: 2-5 levels (Admissions into P2 – P5)
AEIS Secondary school: 1-3 levels (Admissions into Sec 1 – Sec 3)

AEIS Primary (Age 7-12+ years)

Take the relevant paper-based Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test run by Cambridge Assessment English (CAE)
Meet or exceed the required Cambridge English Scale (CES) score (listed below) in the CEQ test before the applicant applies to take the AEIS-Primary Mathematics test appropriate for their age

AEIS Secondary (Age 12-16+ years)

For admission to secondary schools, the applicant can choose to apply for the Secondary 1, Secondary 2 or Secondary 3 test.
The applicant should not be more than 2 years older than the appropriate age for that level.

VIOLET AEIS

AEIS test has a certain level of difficulty. The key is really in the preparation. Academically rigorous curriculum and effective pedagogy are vital to help students gain successful placement into local schools. To pass the AEIS exam, they need to attend VIOLET EDUCATION AEIS English & Mathematics - 1-year package or half a year package with half a year foundation in their hometown.

Preparatory Course for Admission to Government Schools

(Secondary One)

This course prepares students for the Secondary One Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) and/or Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS) English and Mathematics tests. This is a full-time course. The Course in the first semester will run from January to mid-June and is for students who are hoping to enter government schools within the same year. The Course in the second semester will run from July to December and is for students who are hoping to enter government schools in the following year.

Content level: Primary 6

The English module will focus on improving the pupil’s language proficiency in the areas of comprehension, grammar and vocabulary. They will also be required to complete composition writing of 200-300 words.

Mathematics

Content level: Primary 6

The Mathematics module will cover topics such as algebra, geometry and data analysis and statistics. Pupils will be trained to develop critical thinking skills, heuristics skills as well as problem-solving skills.

This course prepares students for the Secondary Three Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) and/or Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS) English and Mathematics tests.
