VIOLET EDUCATION English for Academic Programme (EAP) overview :
This programme is designed to meet, and in some exercises exceed, the academic standards based on Singapore’s Cambridge examination requirements. The programme is intense and rigorous but fun. Activities range from highly interactive class lessons to opportunities for public speaking.
Students will also have opportunities to engage sharp young minds from Singapore's top universities during their visit to cultural places of interest. We hope the engagement process will motivate students to master English at a faster pace after the EAP.

Critical thinking as a pre-condition for Distinction in academic English examinations. The premise is that in order to write and speak well, one must think well. Hence, critical thinking skills training is integral to all VIOLET Education language programmes.​

Language learning through cultural immersion. This can be a life-changing and highly motivating experience for the students. From train rides to food centers and walking around Singapore’s public housing spaces, students will observe how the English language has fostered national unity among a racially diverse group of people. Despite the widespread use of English, Singapore has retained its cultural and social roots.

​Sustaining the learning process. The EAP is merely a catalyst and a transformative experience for students to speed up their pace in Learning and mastering academic English.
